Capoeira Angola Workshops hit Jozi! 14 & 15 May 2011

Hi All

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting another weekend of Capoeira Angola Workshops with Gabriel (from Nzinga) and Dunguinha (from FICA), Maputo. For those of you who attended workshops given by them last year would know how much you learned in such a short time that they were here! And those of you who missed out last year, here is your chance to experience a fantastic weekend of Capoeira Angola!

The workshop details are as follows:

• WHEN : Sat 14th & Sun 15th May 2011
• WHERE : Kingsmead College, 132 Oxford Road, Rosebank *Use the Tottenham Avenue entrance* [GPS Coordinates 26º08'47.16" S | 28º02'44.64" E]
• COST : R 120 for 1 day, R 200 for both days

The Line Up

Saturday 14th May

9:30 – 12:30 : Movements & Madinga

12:30 – 13:30 : Lunch

13:30 – 14:30 : Capoeira history, Q&A session

14:30 – 15:30 : Music

15:30 – 17:00 : Roda

Evening : Dinner & drinks [Venue to be announced later]

Sunday 15th May

9:30 – 12:00 : Movements & Madinga

12:00 – 13:00 : Roda

13:00 : Lunch
