This months student of the month features Adrienne Milton, an up and coming capoeirista from the Cidade Do Ouro group in Florida. Young students like Adrienne that have been doing capoeira for over five years are a great testimony to the dedication of instructors Kevin and Jon. Unfortunately Adrienne doesn't have any super powers, but interestingly, it would take 7 people to change her if she was a light bulb! Find out more about her in this student profile.

Cidade de Ouro celebrates four years of Capoeira in South Africa

What started off as a small community project in Florida, west of Johannesburg, has blossomed into a thriving capoeira school. Cidade de Ouro is now celebrating their 4 year anniversary and would like to invite you to join them for a roda de capoeira to be held at their class on Tuesday 3 August.

Student Profile | Susan “Bahia” Joseph | Cidade Do Ouro

A belated student profile but we will be featuring two students in quick succession this month to make up for the delay! The first of these profiles features Susan Joseph (Bahia) from CDO's Florida class. Does anyone know how we can get Susans' "superchic" outfit back from the dry cleaners?
