What does your apelido mean and how did you get it?

LOL – bossy, Stubborn, Hard-headed.  How did I get it, have you ever tried to manage the admin of a capoeira school that Stavros is teaching?  Had to pull out all the stops of a typical Aries.

What line of work are you in, or what are you studying?

Executive PA.

How did you get into Capoeira?

Nagged and bugged Stavros to restart his school while suffering his punishing personal training sessions at an awful hour of 6am and offered to be one of his students.  Had no idea what all it entailed or what it was about, but gave it a try and it has stuck.

How long have you been involved in Capoeira for?

Since Feb 2008

What is your Favourite Capoeira move?

I’m 37 – any move that I can actually get right is a favourite move !!!  but would have to say quen de rins, love negative defensiva – its so rhythmical.

How has Capoeira had an impact on your lifestyle?

Amazing friends that truly live what the spirit of capoeira is all about from all walks of life and camaraderie and acceptance.  Its truly a family.  Pushes my boundaries all the time to try and exceed what I would consider the normal limits of my body to try something new and get it right.

What moves are you looking to perfect over the next 6 months?

Macaco

If you were an item of food, what would you be? One item?

Way to complicated for that – I am Dessert.

If you were a rabid animal, whom would you bite?

(The closest werewolf I could find.)  seriously – not a friggin clue.

What song do you hate the most right now?

Nope – striking out on this one.  Cannot think of a song off-hand.

Do you have any super powers?

Yes.  And I cannot tell you because that’s why they are called SECRET super powers.

At least two
